The worst daycare my 19 month daughter went there for three months during that time she open her head in the “safe play ground” that had concrete and during play time “teachers” on their phons, 10 bites that left bruises for weeks only received 2 incident reports, my daughter was always sick and lost weight, I always send my daughter with jacket in cold days but they give her jacket to other kids and let her play out with no jacket, they cover her with other kids blanket and they know they have lice in the classroom I have to call every time. Talked to Miss Corsha who always have a fake smile on and always do the opposite of what I asked. We had a meeting with the owner who do not care about any think but to get money and she does not even invest it in her business. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS they do not care about kids they are fake

Please read!

I went to pick up my 2 year old one day & he had a giant knot and bruise on his forehead. I asked what happened & the director told me that he ran into a fence. I said that a fence can't make a bruise that big so she told me he ran into a brick wall. They never once called me during the day to advise me of the incident. They said it was b/c his head was just red when it happened. I reported the incident to licensing the next day and apparently yesterday licensing made a little visit. When I went to pick up my children the owner Mrs. Fish advised me that me and my children were no longer welcome at her school. When I asked why she just kept saying, "You know why". She never gave me a straight answer but I know that it's b/c I called licensing. I DO NOT regret calling licensing on them. That place needs to be cleaned up and shut down. HORRIBLE PLACE!!! I do NOT ...

HORRIBLE PLACE!!!

I do NOT recommend this daycare to my enemy. Amy Fish, the Director, does not care about you as a parent or you child and their well-being, she cares about herself and anyone's money she can get. My 3 year old son went there for 1 year and everyday he was in a different class with a different teacher with different kids. No stability. No structure. I spoke to her regarding this issue several times and she just laughed it off and did nothing. Requires payment upfront every week including a supply fee yet week after week I asked where my son's art work and papers were and nothing. Where was my money going for that whole year?? 700 a month and nothing to show that my son is learning in any type of way. Then I had a daughter in January and she started the daycare on February 28th. My son stayed at home with me while on maternity leave and did not attend daycare from Christmas til 2/28/2011 and Amy insisted on me paying her to hold his spot knowing she has vacancies in his classroom and no pending admits, again money hungry. When I had to go back to work, which was very emotional for me leaving not only him but her too, since she was only 7 weeks old, I got no support or encouragement from Amy that things would be ok in the nursery so I was leary. All she was focused on was that my weekly payments were higher. My 1st day back to work I wasnt able to go check on them but the 2nd day I went up there and as I was walking up the hall I stopped to check on my son because it was naptime. The nursery was 20 feet from his room and I could hear a baby screaming and crying, I said to myself, I know thats not my daughter. I walked in the room (mind you my daughter is 7 weeks & its her 2nd day) and Ms. Annie (a worker who supposedly raised Amy Fish's kids & has worked there for 24 years) was bent over my daughter yelling SHUTUP in her face (3 times in a row) and slapped her in her mouth. I quickly ran to my baby and picked her up and she instantly stopped crying, thats all she wanted was someone to pick her up, it was a new place for her. Ms. Annie said, your baby has been crying for awhile, I said well feed her or pick her up or love her, why are you working in a nursery if you dont know what to do but you dont tell my baby to shut up or slap her in the face. She just looked at me and said nothing. I left with my daughter and called CPS & Daycare Licensing. The worker later admitted to telling my daughter to SHUTUP but never admitted to slapping her and she was suspended for 1 day and Amy Fish said she would not terminate her because it was my word against hers. There is no cameras in the nursery therefore Ms. Annie still has a job. Daycare Licensing came to my house and took pictures of my daughters face. For your child's safety do not take your kids to BCAMP. Horrible place for kids & obviously not a Christian based facility as Amy Fish portrays it to be. I wouldnt even give this facility a rating of 1 star but I had to pick one in order for you to see my story. Please for your kids, do not pick this daycare.

My review is only for the 2 year old class and the 2 year old teacher. I didn’t have any interaction with the rest of the teachers. My son was there for one week. He came home with finger print bruises on his inner thighs, twice. He is a rough toddler so the first time we gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he did it himself, but the second day it was on the opposite leg, same spot and the other bruises had become darker where you could actually tell they were grown up fingerprint bruises. I paid extra to watch him all day on their watch me grow app but conveniently he was always out of camera view. There was one spot in the room you couldn’t see and that is where they laid him down. They would send him to other classrooms because he couldn’t sleep in this new place so half of the time I couldn’t see him. When I did see him, I watched him cry at the door and there was no nurturing or even a pat on the back. He would follow her around begging to be picked up and she ignored him. I told myself not to freak out, he just needed to get adjusted to this new place but it was so hard to watch. They tell you nap time is 12:30 to 2:30 but they actually start laying them down at 11 and the lights are still out after 3. My child can’t sleep for 4 hours in the middle of the day. It’s really sad how they have to lay there quietly for that long. The last day I picked him up there was a new lady in his class and she didn’t really speak English but she basically told me he must have already left for the day because she didn’t know who or where he was. She was trying to hand me other people’s kids! I ran to the front desk and they had to look around for him. He was in the baby class because he wouldn’t sleep. They should know where your kids are at all times no matter what. He would come home in other kids diapers, they gave other kids his blankets for nap and would let them play outside in the cold for over 2 hours but these are minor compared to his bruises.

Great School!!! I have 2 children (5 & 1 1/2) who both currently attend BCAMP and the oldest has been since she was 2yrs old. We have tried private home daycare, a nanny and doing it all on my own while working. This school and it's staff have been nothing short of amazing to me and my family. They have one of the most rewarding and important, yet diffult jobs there are. You cant make everyone happy, but the owner Amy Fish and her office staff have always listened to my concerns, was more than willing to help and stay in close communication with me. I have a very high standard for my children's education and their care and in many ways this school serpasses my expectations. I receive pictures and updates all day about my children and they have recently added video monitors. My children are always learning, having fun and have made great friends over the years. These people truly care and love your children. Thanks BCAMP!!!

HORRIBLE!!

This is the worst place ever!!! I went to go see my child on a daily basis sometimes even 3 times a day and they didn't like that I was there so much because of finding out all these bad things they were doing!!! I didn't have a problem with the infant teachers the problem really is those people in the front office the director Amy Fish and Ms. Gordon...they are the ones making everyones life a living nightmare and I feel bad for some of the parents that don't go and check up on their children they have no idea what is going on. Amy Fish made up some lie and said that I was so-called disruptive to the class that is why they terminated my child care...the only reason I stuck it out for 3 weeks was because it was less than a minute away from my job and I was able to pop in and see what they were doing there.....the director didn't like it too much and according to Ms Dossey as a day care they have a right to terminate service. Under what circumstances? They don't have any...like I said they just don't like the fact that I went so much that I saw everything they were doing wrong. I called the Texas Department of Child Services and reported them...I also called the BBB (better business bureau) on them too. This is outreageous. As a first time parent I was VERY VERY leary of daycare...that confirmed it Amy/Bedford Christian Academy was the worst thing I have ever considered for my child! I am glad this is over! Now I have my son in Peanut Gallery...it's a world of difference! You get what you pay for!
