169$ for one all-over hair color for sholder-length hair is pretty ridiculous, especially when considering it would need to be done once a month, as color always fades on me.

That's 20$ more than when I had my hair bleached to white blonde at another Aveda-associated salon. So I know it's not the product causing the expense.

I've always gone to higher end salons, and I've usually loved Aveda-associated salons, which is why I chose to come here.

I was highly disappointed not only by the price but the atmosphere. The stylist continuously walked away from me and talking to the other ones. According to the website, she is a senior stylist, which I assume means she has been there a while. So I see no reason she had to not be doing her job and do her initial consult

When I asked for a hair color, this stylist asked me for a picture of color and didn't show me the hair swatches to pick from, which I found super weird.

If I'm being petty, the layout of this salon is super awkward. The visitor seating consists of two chairs and is in the back. Also, I never received the water I was offered.

I have a lot of hair and Kim is not a bright stylist. She is inarticulate and lacks consultation skills. I will not be coming back. I agree with the reviews the receptionist is great

I'll drive to see Teresita anywhere, anytime! I was referred to her four years ago when we moved to Austin and have never cheated on her since. I'll happily drive an hour plus from San Antonio & now four hours from Houston/Clear Lake just to get my hair cut! The new place is so nice & she always makes me look & feel great ;) Plus I love Aveda so I'm sending all my friends to her new salon!
